Our Activities

Our Beliefs and Practices

Our church offers various activities to help congregants enrich their faith and become closer to God. We are unique in that we foster dialogue between individuals that have a wide range of faith and theological perspectives. One such activity is our adult Bible study sessions, which include:

  • Sunday School – We have two adult Sunday school classes that meet on Sunday mornings.
  • Thursday Evening Bible Study Group – We visit our participants’ homes each week to cover selected portions of the Bible.
  • ChristCare Small Group Ministry – In this program developed by the Stephens Ministries, participants meet twice a month to focus on Bible study, fellowship, service, prayer, and worship.

Music Ministries

Sunday church services are accompanied by our praise team, our magnificent Rodgers organ, chimes, and the voices of our congregation. On special occasions, our children’s choir delights parents and congregants alike. In the words of the 100th Psalm, everyone is welcome to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord…Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.”

Adult Fellowship Programs

Our programs for adult Christians include the following:

  • Christian Women’s Fellowship – This program has two components:
  1. Each month, four groups will meet on various weeknights to provide opportunities for fellowship, spiritual development, and service.
  2. Every three months, all the groups come together for fellowship and a special program.
  • Christian Men’s Fellowship – In this program, participants meet once a month for dinner, fellowship, and a discussion on various topics of faith.
  • The Bench Warmers – This involves a group of senior citizens who meet once a month for lunch and a program.
  • Saturday Nite Lites – This involves a group of empty nesters and retirees who meet at a local restaurant for a meal and fellowship.

There are many places to participate in the congregation and in the services our congregation provides.
